Mini-Acrostic

I sure was stuck trying to come up with something for this puzzle, let me tell you. I wanted to do something that wasn't a word puzzle, and I just couldn't think of anything. Eventually I went for an acrostic, with a fairly short quote. I was a little worried that a short acrostic wouldn't be interesting enough, so I (perhaps passive-aggressively) compensated with some fairly vague clues, just to make you work at it. The quote accurately sums up my mood ysterday when working on this. I do have a small backlog I could draw on, but once I finished this puzzle I figured I'd better post it so that it didn't keep eating at me. But I made it through week one, with only a minor glitch on the weekend, so huzzah!
